LETROZOLE blocks the production of estrogen. Certain types of breast cancer grow under the influence of estrogen. Letrozole helps block tumor growth. What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

What may interact with this medicine?

Do not take this medicine with any of the following:

• estrogens, like hormone replacement therapy or birth control pills

This medicine may also interact with the following:

• dietary supplements such as androstenedione or DHEA
• prasterone
• tamoxifen

If you are using this medicine for athlete's foot be sure to dry your feet carefully after bathing, especially between the toes. Do not wear socks made from wool or synthetic materials like rayon or nylon. Wear clean cotton socks and change them at least once a day, change them more if your feet sweat a lot. Also, try to wear sandals or shoes that are well-ventilated.
